The use of Face Mask and Body Protector in several official competitions during its first year has shown overall excellent results by reducing dramatically the number of injuries, without interfering at all in the normal development of the bouts.
After an assessment by the WKF Medical Commission, a report has been created in which the injuries occuring before and after the use of this protection as well as the incidence in the visual field of the competitor have been analyzed.
